Before my wife and I began this business endeavor I spent many years developing my skills and acquiring knowledge in this field. As a young man I began my career at a ranch in Tivoli, Texas – breaking horses and working cattle (ie. vaccinated, castrated, dehorned, drew blood for brucellosis tests, etc.) for approximately 5 years. The next chapter of my career was working at Central Cattle Co., a feedlot, in La Vernia, Texas where I rode pens, identifying and doctoring sick cattle, castrated bulls, sorted cattle for feeding and shipping. After years there I went to work for Iowa Beef Processing in ‘Quality Control of beef’ before it was packaged for shipping. I enjoy what I do and would llike to extend this pleasure by creating an exceptional product for you, your family, and the public.
